Which version of Afterburner do you prefer?

Can make my mind up whether the Activision one even though it has a smaller playing area plays better. The Sega version looks prettier but isnt as playable?

Any thoughts?

I think Sega version is more playable and Activision is like ST port. For me constant firing is not good idea but in so old title it's passable. In Sega version enemy rockets are without scalling effect but sound effect made by them is helpful. Please avoid After Burner 3 (not Amiga game).

The Amiga us version was it seemed a better handled version which was suprising considering Jez San and team worked on the Activision one i thought

I guess an ST port could have been the reason for why the American version looked superior

Mind you perhaps it wasn't American made after all?
