Tried WinUAE 0.8.22 R1 and....
.... I found it quite slower than the previous version.
SysInfo shows a 30% overall decrease in speed. Is there any new setting to be fine tuned (apart from the cycle-exact option I did not choose) ? Bye now, Last edited by entity00; 11 September 2002 at 13:03. |

Slow in JIT mode? Increasing sound buffer size or disabling sound should fix your problems. (JIT and small buffers don't mix..)

I just compared the last two WinUAE versions with the very same settings (JIT with large buffers and no sound).
Actually I used the same config files for both. SysInfo dhrystones test is always about 30% lower using the new version. At least on my PII 400. Anyway WinUAE ROXX hands down !!! Thanks for your hard work! Bye now, |
