Ghosts 'n Goblins

"Released shortly after the GHOULS 'N GHOSTS conversion."

I don't think so.

Hmmm...I think you are right. I don't know what the source of that info is at the moment, so until I do or can confirm it, I struck the comment. It sure doesn't sound correct to me... (and I'm probably the one who put it there!)

Actually, I think that info could be correct. My Zzap 64/Amiga collection is stored away so I'd need to check to be sure, but I'm fairly sure that Ghost's n' Goblins' Amiga prequel was reviewed after Ghouls n' Ghosts was.
I only started getting Zzap again at the end of 89' & Amiga Ghouls n Ghosts was reviewed in the february or march 1990 issue,if memory serves.
Amongst the review criticisms for Ghost n Goblins was about the mammoth delay & it being a 1 meg only game.

These are Amiga Format reviews:

Ghouls 'n' Ghosts - issue 7 - full price - £24.99.
Ghosts 'n' Goblins - issue 13 - full price - £19.99

PS I entered that information in the HOL, not Twistin'!

Post A bit late this information, but here it goes...

I have an issue of CU Amiga, July 1990 which has a review of Ghosts 'n' Goblins. In the review it is somewhere stated this game is released AFTER Ghouls 'n' Ghosts on Amiga.

Also, in Zzap Ghouls 'n' Ghosts is reviewed in issue 58 (feb 1990) scoring 85%;
Ghosts 'n' Goblins is reviewed in issue 64 (august 1990) scoring 71%.

The moral of the story is...

ALWAYS TRUST THE HOL! *

* Except where it's inaccurate.

Yikes! That means all entries except those done by RCK. Let's see, that should be about.... zero.
