A4000D daughterboard grounding cables?

So I ordered a a replacement daughterboard for my A4000D on a wing and a prayer that it would fix my temperamental machine. Analogic delivered by airmail quickly enough, but when I take a look at it then I see what looks like two grounding cables - one each side (see attachments). It is also marked with a more recent version than the old.

Are those two grounding cables? Should they be screwed together with the rail that holds the daughterboard in place?

The last one certainly looks like a grounding cable, but I've never seen one before, despite owning to A4000s myself and having repaired several.

Someone has added that ground cable in last picture.
For what every reason we may never know.

I assume "9402" means produced week 2 of 1994? There is also a small wire patch on the connectors side that isn't on the old.

None of the A4000 that I have has those cables. It looks like a ground wire for anybody. One of the A4000 that I have has that wire. It looks like a ground wire to screw into the metal chassis of the box.
