Syndicate 2 Disk Version
This version of Syndicate is not in HOL. It has 2 disks , Aga compatible (it works on my A1200) , Hdd installable , it's part of the Amiga Chaos Pack and has no animations (no intro).

You sure disks just are not missing ? As i recall game could be booted without the intro disk anyway. If its the chaos pack im thinking of (Pinball Fantasies, Nick Faldo, syndicate and chaos engine) it should be 4 disks and always was a1200 compatable, no aga version.

I remember the 2 disk version too. I got it from a computer shop that had split one of those pack compilations (not 100% sure it was the Chaos Pack though). The four disk version had different regions spread across the four disks. IIRC the two disk version had certain areas (North America, Australia?) disabled - i.e. you couldn't even click on these areas in order to be prompted to insert the disk.
It was more than a one level demo but less than the full 50 level four disk game. |

You're right TikTok. But the 2 regions are Australia (3 missions) and South America (7 missions). Everywhere else is fine so it's missing animations and 10 missions. It also has no copy-protection whatsoever , it says so in the manual.

Yep. My friend was super upset when he bought the 2 disk version masquerading as the full price version (possible due to ignorant Computer Store staff who split the games from the compilation without knowing they were cut down versions).
BTW, the four disk version has no copy protection either IIRC. |

I got both versions from ebay and they both got not protection whatsoever. The 2 disk version , although cut-down , is still a full game that has no mentioning in HOL and I think it should.
