FS - My Expanded 1200
Ok, im sad to have to let go my UK Made customised and expanded 1200, (only if the price is right!)
I have not been active in the forums for about a month, been busy rediscovering a other pastime from the past... sea fishing... so as i now want some new kit, after getting back into it with my now 10+ yr old tackle, i regret to say i have to let my custom miggy go. She is a UK made 1200, with casings, mouse, psu all finished in pearelesnt white paint, 6.3gb HDD (partitioned to fit under the 4gb limit!, but it is 6.3gb) 3.0 Roms, Blizzard 1230IV @ 50MHz with FPU, 16mb ram fitted, Boxed Squirell SCSI Adapter, External caddy loaded SCSI CD Drive (4 or 8x if i remember rightly), i also have commodore monitor lead, a Scart lead and the usal RF and Stereo leads. all manuals, and she is boxed in The original if tatty and faded packaging, also boxed external amitek sony drive. she comes with 3.0 workbench disk set, and the HDD has most of KG whd load game packs, whdload, and Classic WB, Wordsworth, devpac etc. and she also has a brand spanking new Amigakit uk keyboard, so this one is pristine white, and a quickshot joystick. (pics of her can be found in the hardware section, uk made 1200 post) This rig has brought me hours of fun over the years, since i originally bought her new all those years ago, and now since i got back into the scene (dont worry i still have another oh 10 or so miggys!) so make me an offer i cant refuse! preffer UK buyers (lol this lot must weigh at least 40kg), and will not split. i have a ballpark figure in mind i will not go under (no i wont say just yet, will see what kinda bids i get to see if i was thinking along right lines), this is an exceptional miggy, not the usual tango coloured affair, with more crap under the keys than the local landfill. and want to see it go to a good home where it will be used, not broken up and sold on as ebay fodder. |

As i said in the above post, NOT willing to split... it goes as is or it dont go at all. and preffer a uk buyer as it would probably cost silly money to ship abroad cos of the weight.

I'm in the market for something like this but would prefer to wait and see what you'd accept. I don't do offers, although I will offer a mars bar and a curly wurly!

lol Paul_s.... well i have a figure in my head, but unless i start getting some info in what folks are willing to pay, i aint got a clue whether im being wildly optimistic, or gonna be a mug and let it go for a lot less than the market is willing to pay. basically it goes to the highest bidder, and if it goes over the figure in my head... if not she stays put and i just save the money i need for new kit.. hell i saved up the money for this pc in a little over a month, and its a fair mid range gaming rig.. yes it plays crysis easily! pmsl im a wily scot, lol we never show our hand, lol so the figure in my head will not be forthcoming!
come on folks even if your not in the market for a miggy, gimme your thoughts on what u think this little lot is worth! pm's from serious bidders welcome! |

Having watched most Amiga Ebay auctions for months now, I post my guesses at what the individual parts would get on EBAY.
Remember just my guess, each item could well fetch more.... Alos don't undervalue the benefit of getting a fully working ready built system .... Boxed A1200, with casings, mouse, psu and manual all finished in white paint - £75.00 6.3gb HDD - £10.00 3.0 Roms - part of STOCK a1200 Blizzard 1230IV @ 50MHz with FPU, 16mb ram fitted - £120 Boxed Squirell SCSI Adapter - £45.00 External caddy loaded SCSI CD Drive (4 or 8x if i remember rightly) - £15.00 commodore monitor lead - £5.00 Scart lead - £8.00 RF and Stereo leads - £2.00 boxed external amitek sony drive. £10 workbench 3.0 disk set - £10 Hmmm all in £300 Just guessing remember |

market seems to have grown in past 18 months.. the prices seemed to have got a lot higher for better quality machines.
the 300 mark seems more like what i was thinking for this, i also have a lot of original boxed games, but dont think most are interested in that, they want the convienance of whdload and not having to fiddle with stacks of floppys. |

I would not pay more than £150 for the set-up you have.
Your best bet would be to split three ways.. CD with adaptor Blizzard 030 Miggy and accessories. I believe that is the only way you would realise anywhere near what you are looking for. You never know though. Try one of those 'buy it now' auctions that run for a month. Acellerators seem to be the only Amiga accessory that is fetching good monies these days. Someone will get some nice kit no matter what you decide |

yep i guess i have let the cat out of the bag a little, certianly wont take less than the 300 mark, and postage is on top.. sold a blizzard 1230 not long ago without fpu and 16mb for 120. so no way would this lot go for 150.
