So did he change the code? Could this code maybe be used on kipper's old riser I wonder?

Haven't had much time to play with it as yet.

@ooBumbleBeeoo

Does it fix reset issues? I have to hold reset button down for 5 secs on first boot or it just hangs.

What do you mean?
I need more info.
It depends how new your pic is.
I literally got sent this from him end of last week.
Mine didn't even boot with the old pic installed.
The 100ohm resistor trick didn't work either. Did you read the wiki?

I got fed up looking at my crappy old white ps2 keyboard and thought I'd buy a new lush usb one... however, the catch is that you need the device that has usb to support the ps2 standard internally.

This solves that, so you can use anything

I was wondering how come you came all the way over here for your pilot's license. Do they recognize a US license in Europe?

So you had same issue as me. CD32 held in reset state, due to pic conflicting. If you play around with reset, it eventually booted, then reset button would stop working completely. Swapping R1 and R2, fixed reset button, however still had the no boot on first switch on problem. I have to mess with reset only on first boot. Once it boots once, its fine.

In case your Pic is a 12F629. Try to lift Pin5 on the Pic (I bent it under the chip and insulated it, before it went back into the socket). It helped me with no boot issues. Reset button does not work.

Pinout:
1 8
2 7
3 6
4 5

Also mine didn't boot without a keyboard attached but booted fine with it. I think Edu is making a great job! Amigas are just old and often different.

How new is your pic from Edu? It's all working now.
The pic is a 12F627 - newest flash has mmkeyboard in it or something?
All the keys work, no boot issues apart from if you hit ctrl-windows-windows to reboot the machine I get the following screen...
Plus the reset button on the CD32 doesn't work.

The only way you can rest is to switch the CD32 off.
I could try bending the pin up.

Here is a video of it working however...

@brigand

Haha, holy shit... you never guess what.
That pin 5 lift just solved it on the newest flash on this PIC!!
I can reset on the keyboard now... reset on the CD32 still won't work, but if the keyboard does it and resets ok, then there is no point.

You're a genius!!! I'm a happy man

By the way, this won't boot at all if your keyboard is not attached - the CD32 just throws a blinking green LED.
That's all now, but that must be to do with the PIC and the way it makes the system talk to the PS2 riser port.
