Hey Toni, any juicy details for R10 ?

First of all, I'd like to say what a great board this looks.
Tons of Amiga nuts, all in the same place

I've owned almost all of the Amiga range, back in their glory days.

Now, I just use WinUAE to re-live all those old Amiga classic games.

Toni, great emulator, I love it.

Any details of what you got planned, or we can dream about, in R10 ?

I would love to see if this BLIT filter can be introduced into WinUAE

http://hiend3d.com/demos.html

One can only imagine the results of this filter, on those Amiga classics
The only emulator I know of, that supports this feature, is the SNES emulator ZSNES WIP version.
And believe me, SNES games never looked soo good.

Anyway, keep up the good work, Toni.
And I look forward to the next version,

I agree, the hq filters introduced in recent ScummVM releases are really great.

Holy %&*%,
They are in SCUMMVM, now ? :eek

I think I'd better pay a visit to sourceforge, as my copy of scummvm is a few months old.
And I can't remember seeing the hq filters in there, only the usual 2xsai, eagle filters.

I'll upload update list to winuae.net "soon"..

Don't expect anything big this time, only small fixes and updates here and there.

hq2x/3x: maybe..

Yes, ScummVM has support for hq2x and hq4x now ... just take the daily build.
Btw: i can't wait to try Flight of the Amazon Queen =) the next release (0.6.0) will support it.

@toni: make me happy and include hq4x, too (IF you have time enough to implement the hq scaler at all) .. i use an 22"CRT =)

Cheers, Toni.
Fixes, no matter how small, are always welcome.

Drools, at even a "maybe".

On a side note,
Have you managed to get the current filters, 2xsai etc.., working in 32bit colour ?
16bit colour doesn't seem to work too well on Radeon cards (9700 Pro etc..), and the current blit filters only seem to work in 16bit colour.
Nothing serious.

Look forward to R10,

Cheers,

dk.

Ahh, I noticed it was only in the source.
I'm not much clued up on cvs builds, or compiling them.

I don't suppose you know of any binary links ?

Cheers,

dk.

*lol* I have a link for you ... there is a "daily win32 snapshot" on the site =)

Take this one and have fun.
www.scummvm.org/downloads/scummvmwin32.exe

The "Flight of the Amazon Queen" Code is still "in Progress" ... wait for the stable release build (0.6.0) ...

well the new filters are great and me too i loook fwd for new releases to come out but my point is to not press Toni too much with our expectations... i think winuae is a really articulate piece of software and difficult to work at for one single person.
the 10 is just behind the corner but release 1.0 is stll far (right?)
