[Found: Alien Breed Tower Assault] Space game?

Hi all,

This game had a very good intro...unfortunately the intro (& maybe a little beyond it) is all I can remember.

There is a spacecraft & part of it rotates as it is traveling. If memory serves correctly, the spacecraft has a frame-like surface, like lots of beams connected together. There is "spaceship cruising" noise as it moves along slowly on the screen.

Then there is somebody, maybe in a hall, speaking, possibly addressing a group of troops.

I don't know if I got the whole game last time, or just played a demo from a cover CD, so there is some chance the game was never fully released...but that I just don't know.

Please give any input, as I'd love to check it out again

Still, looks like it has a nice intro, so I'll get it right now, thanks again!

I'm pretty sure that the one I'm chasing is probably AGA only.

*EDIT* - Nope, not the game...cool intro though...I like the guy getting blasted by the rocket engines, leaving nothing but smoking boots behind!

You know mister Druid, I already tried backed up files of a Star Crusader install thinking that might be it, but there was no intro at all.

Maybe I should try a WHDLoad install? Back in a few minutes with a result for you!

Isn't it something like 12 floppies? Buggered if I'm up for writing & installing from that many tonight! Damn!!!!

There is a CD32 version that I have and it has an intro. Is that of any use for you? I could upload it to Magix FTP if you like

Hmm, Inferno was unreleased game with big intro but Idon't recall any ship in it.

Nah, pretty sure it is indeed Star Crusader, as I knew the game once it was loaded.

At some stage I must have had the CD32 version that CyberDruid is uploading...but I can't find it in my physical CD collection, nor can I find it in my file archives...probably got lost when I transferred everything from the PC to my Mac...I blame the PC!

Thanks again to CyberDruid, I'm almost 100% sure you are correct & I appreciate you uploading it!

OK, after testing it is update time.

CyberDruid...what a cool intro & a fairly long one too!

Turns out that is isn't the game I'm chasing, BUT your efforts have not gone to waste, as I love that intro & have archived it for anyone who might need it in the future...plus whoever gets (& agrees not to hide) my Amiga "stash" when I die!

So yeah, thanks man, I really appreciate you going to the trouble of uploading it, but my search now continues...hmmm, I can see the intro in my head...if only we could all share visual thoughts via the 'net!

Erm, I wish that would work, but any comic strip drawn by me would look worse than if I just vomited on a piece of paper!
