It's a Pixel THING - recent retrogaming Youtube channel

Hi, guys! I'm from Portugal, and I love retrogaming!

I grew up with the evolution of home computers, back in mid 80s, and this passion of mine began with my beloved Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128k +2A.
I've recently started my own YouTube channel "It's a Pixel THING" where I do weekly videos about retrogaming (Amiga, DOS, Spectrum) and video gaming industry analysis!

Check it out, if you have the time: It's a Pixel THING

Thank you very much!

Here's an exemple of my weekly videos:

Hi,

Just watched the 'where it all went wrong' video so far, but have subscribed and intend to catch up with the rest. I thought it was very info-packed and the production value is really impressive. Thanks for the A300 reminder, I'd totally forgotten that almost cock-up. What on earth were they thinking? The next big thing is an underpowered version of what you've already got. Kind of an upgrade to the C64 to be released in the Amiga era. Form an orderly queue please!

The only thing I wasn't keen on were the text captions because it's difficult to listen to you talk, watch the video as well as read the text. I think you miss interesting details that way, though I imagine some of these could be after-thoughts you didn't know you wanted to include at the time.

Thanks for all your comments, dreamkatcha! I really appreciate it!
You're right, those are after-thoughts that I initially wanted to include but it would make the video too long..
I really hope that my english is understandable!
Thanks again!

No problem. I'm just glad there are people out there who are willing to put this much time, effort and enthusiasm into making this hobby come alive on camera. Between you, you've kept me entertained for years.

I have to admit I have to concentrate that bit harder to break through the accent barrier, but it all makes sense when I'm paying attention.

Thumbs up

I've watched about 10 of these videos so far and really enjoyed them.

I like the fact that you review lesser known games like Ugh! and Big Red Racing and that you put in lots of background details.

Very professional. Great job!

Is there a video that explains about your controller setup / system? It looks awesome!

Just wanted to say I really like the transition between the Spectrum and Amiga versions of Rick Dangerous. It was seamless like flicking the toggle between classic and contemporary mode in the Monkey Island remake. Neat trick!
