WinUAE support for Catweasel MK4

Hi,

According to yesterday's announcement on Individual Computer's website, the Catweasel MK4 is being released in October, complete with Windows drivers (and support for other platforms). I was almost tempted to buy a MK3 a few months ago, and after seeing the technical spec (see announcement link) of the MK4 I'm definitely buying one this time!

I notice there are instructions on the WinUAE website for using a Catweasel MK3 with WinUAE 0.8.22R4, so is it likely that full support will be included in WinUAE for the Catweasel MK4 when it is released later in the year? Or to put it another way, please can we have full Catweasel MK4 support in WinUAE?

Also, just out of curiosity, has support for the Catweasel MK3 improved between 0.8.22R4 (when the instructions were written) and 0.8.27 and with the latest Windows drivers? Or did Windows drivers that fully supported the MK3's features never get released?

Yes, there will be MK4 support. MK4 should allow transparent drive support (CW-drive working as a real DF0: ), even with copy protected floppies.

There never was useful Windows drivers for MK3. I really hope this won't the case with MK4...
