Debian installer doesn't reboot with 68030
I'm not sure whether this is a WinUAE problem or this also happens on a real 68030 Amiga, but anyway...
Run the Debian 3.1r8 installer and choose Abort the installation at the menu. The machine should shortly reboot, but while that works okay with 68040 CPU, with 68030 it doesn't. There's an MMU disabled message in the WinUAE log then nothing. |

Does Debian 3.1r8 works without any kind of MMU? (As I remember it only works with MMU active CPUs even on 68020, but could be wrong here)
If possible on WinUAE active MMU for 68030 is my adviced. |

It assumes instruction following instruction that disables the MMU has been prefetched. This may not be easily handled (and probably not worth the trouble)
TTD: You misunderstood. "MMU disabled" means software disabled MMU translations. MMU is still emulated, mostly doing nothing in this state. |

Ah, maybe that explains why I saw more/different log output when "More compatible" was checked in CPU settings (since prefetch handling is different then). [I didn't mention that because I think you said More compatible is broken with 68030 at the moment.]
