hat feature is actual in ECC, maybe ECC himself can explain it a bit more.
Yes, there is already an auto-unpack feature for 7zip and zip file included. You can activate this in the configuration popup. But this only unpack the current started rom at the moment. No multi-file support yet.
These auto-unpacked files are stored in your ecc-user/#_AUTO_UNPACKED folder grouped by system name!

to add those in the DB, at least the IPF ones
Great job! I like, that the programmer, musicans and graphics are also filled. Very cool.

Sounds really interesting. So you unpack the content of the zipped file in the dir. Could it be implemented that you use a subdir with the name of the (7)Zip file? Then it would be fairly easy to implement that feature in the script

Elektor TV Games
It looks, phoenix have requested more infos for this. Maybe he can add this platform before he goes into vacation! Maybe you can send him some informations.... see this thread!
http://ecc.phoenixinteractive.mine.n...&hilit=Elektor

For 7zip/Zip unpack, the eccScriptRom.dat contains these lines:

Quote:
[FILE]
rom_file = "Digimon Tamers - Digimon Medley.7z"
rom_path = "D:\Bandai Wonderswan - ALL ROMS 7Z\"
rom_file_packed = "Digimon Tamers - Digimon Medley (J) [f1].wsc"
rom_name_plain = "Digimon Tamers - Digimon Medley (J) [f1]"
rom_extension = "wsc"
rom_file_extension = "7z"
ecc_unpacked_file = "Digimon Tamers - Digimon Medley (J) [f1].wsc"
ecc_unpacked_path = "D:\emuControlCenter DEVEL\ecc-user\#_AUTO_UNPACKED\wsc\"
So you can extract all needed informations from this dat, if an file is auto-unpacked!

Here some descriptions:
rom_file = the real file located direct on your harddisk, could be rom or 7zip/zip
rom_path = path to rom_file
rom_file_packed = name of the rom packed in a 7zip or Zip including the extension
rom_name_plain = rom name without file extension
rom_extension = file extension of the real rom!
rom_file_extension = file extension of the rom_file, could be the rom_extension or e.g. 7z, zip!
ecc_unpacked_file = filename of the auto-unpacked file in the #_AUTO_UNPACKED folder
ecc_unpacked_path = path to \#_AUTO_UNPACKED folder!

Thanks for the info
This will help a lot to work on it. Hopefully I will have enough time to do all the script enhancements on saturday, so I can bugfix them on sunday

@Minuous: I´ve found some screens of the elektor tv game computer. Looks like this will be the first platform without a really good teaser image.
