ClassAction 3.6 MUI+Gadtools:

Something dodgy appears to be going on here:

Amiga Explorer by Rudi Timmermans in 2011:

Is exactly the same as AmigaFileViewer by Simon Fox in 1999:

"ClassAction 3.6 MUI" and "RO" were already on the SlideShow

BrowserII: he doesn't look like a filemanager

SID2: is having some trouble working!

ClassAction - I only saw the reaction version, the old MUI version is very different, and you have included different versions of the others...

RO -was just pointing out that there is a newer version than the one in your slideshow.

I think it is, but it works differently from the others, never really used it myself... So maybe I am wrong.

I remember running this on my A500 many moons ago, but have had no luck running it recently either.

Yes actually I used version 4 Reaction, v3 MUI and V2 GadTools are different, I'll add them tomorrow.

is single window, as OX filemanager, only with OX you can Drag and drop between two or more windows.

It's not a compatibility problem, there are 2 green 1.x and 2.x just can't find path the prefs files, tomorrow calmly try again.

Great List! Thanks, I always wanted to try a few of these and never got around to it. I guess I'm a die-hard DOPUS fan but I have to admit, I "discovered" Filer a while back and I really like it - sort of a cross between DOPUS and DiskMaster.

@James
Added other Filemanager in the Screenshot except SID2 that doesn't seem to work, Ro 1.28 can't download it you have to be registered on a1k.org, as it should not be much different from v1.27:

- Browser2
- ClassAction2
- ClassAction3
- AmigaExplorer
- AmigaFileViewe
- Dux5
- RO v1.25
- Dopus582
- Smarty
- Explorer
- InfoNexus
- Maxmanager

Thank you, this is a great list!

Maybe it would be nice to show what minimum Kickstart/Workbench they work with? (Or show what they have been tested with) For example, Kickstart/Workbench 1.3 users will know what can work.

Many of them work on OS 1.3/2.0 and many also fit well on RTG Screens

When we first got our Amiga, we used to use something called DUIII. I believe this stood for DiskUtil III. I can not find anything about it online.

DirUtil III Plus is the one. Looks quite a lot nicer than that when run in KS 1.x.

I've been using XLent that comes with xcopy since forever. Does all I need. Tiny and loads quick. Runs on 1.3/2.0 ...3.9.
