WinUAE & AmIRC DCC Send

What do I have to set to DCC SEND files from AmIRC/WinUAE?
Receive works fine...
I use Vista and I've already set Firewall permission to WinUAE task for outbound traffic but didn't solve the prob. I use AmIRC 3.5.27.

in the prefs theirs a network section. try putting your internet host name(maybe net ip works) in their and set the ports range to 1050 - 1060. Should do the trick.

Already configured. I was a Vaporware's AmIRC betatester so I know AmIRC very well. Must be something else...
Does it work for you? Do you have XP?

yeah works fine. in fact i use to it send files because trillian irc cant do it on windows side hehe

not sure if its relevent, but the port range specified was what i have to use on real amiga., no other range works and the env file its stored in was set to the above numbers regardless of those entered in amirc. Not sure if thats amirc issue or mimi issuing a forced port range.

I use Vista... Did you open those ports (1050-60) on XP side or "promoted" WinUAE task too (I assume you use ZoneAlarm)?

no, just allowed winua 100% access through kaspersky firewall, but did set up those ports to be forwarded to pc in router.

Doh!!! The ports on the router/firewall!! I forgot them... AmIRC/WinUAE/Vista works fine now! Thank you!
