Thanks ill have a look - But I dont think AmiGameBoy will ever work on my 030

-I just remeber looking in the history there was a version I couldnt find anywhere.-Maybe I should just buy a GB.

OffTopic:Going off topic but does anyone think AmiPcEngine would realy have been possible?

Actually, AmiGameBoy runs pretty well (read: fast) on 68030. I used it on my 1230 quite a lot years ago (1997/1998).

It will always run but results in a freeze.

I think it must be my expansion card ive tried it many times. Changeing the caches makes a difference ive also tried many degraders. The starange thing is after many tries it will work and continue to work after soft reset untill the machine is switched off?

I don't think we're likely to see either a disk image or beta release for this project ever.

I would like to get my hands on a KickTOS disk as much as anyone, but there are two obstacles to this ATM:

First, a disk image is out of the question because KickTOS contains copyrighted Commodore Kickstart code. Therefore any release can only be in the form of a patch to overwrite a legal Kickstart disk. Hit has already been in touch with the author to request just such a patch, but has so far received no response, as he explains above.

And second, Ratte seems very reluctant to share this with anyone while it's still in development, so I think we're going to have to wait until all the kinks are ironed out.

But there is no Kickstart/Commodore/Amiga code inside ... there is Atari copyrighted material inside.

I´ll release a kind of "selfmade-kit" without atari-code someday.
And someday means someday ...

P.S. Are you sure about the restricted redistribution status of the Atari code? I thought that everything had been released into the public domain. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

The latest (beta) version of WinUAE does support Atari ST disk images.
