Championship Manager 93/94?
Has anybody ever considered making a WHDLoad installer for this game? I assume there isn't one because it originally came with an HD installer, but the game won't run with any kind of accelerator attached.

No on my 060 A4000 it just crashes upon start running from HD. It used to run on the stock 030 with some graphical glitches, and no way to quit. I think it would really benefit from an installer.

Well, I have this one and if we are talking about the same thing it is only a one-disk season update that helps updating your 93 disks, creates a new pack on 3 disks and then you can install them to HD. It perfectly works on both my Blizzard MKIV 1230/50 and A500 2MB chip plus brand new HC508 configs. What kind of accelerators have you tried it on so far?

Sorry I meant either 93 or 93/94 with the update, so the whole game. I have a Cyberstorm 060 MKII and it doesn't boot. As above it did used to boot before I fitted the 060 and had an 030, but it had some graphic glitches.

This is how it looks on my A4000 with 060 running it from the HD installer. No text visible, buttons do not work, screen stuck to top right, no way to quit/exit to workbench. I'm sure all of the above could be easily fixed with a WHDLoad install.

I think you just need to transfer the fonts over from floppy iirc.
