My Syncmaster 940MW is a nice screen.
I have two Amigas, a C64 in a Joystick thingy and a PC connected to it. It uses SCART for native 15khz Amiga signals, with VGA in for my A1200Towers Voodoo card and my A1200Desktops Scandoubler/Flickerfixer. I use DVI in for the PC and AV in for the C64 Joystick thingy. It also has integrated speakers and TV tuner. The one downside for native miggy modes is that it is a widescreen monitor (16:10). I simply set it to 4:3 and it scales very well leaving black screen edges, which someone here on EAB recommends are very useful for sock drying! |

you could make an Amiga 23pin to scart + VGA double header cable.... dunno how but I am sure that it is possible.....

Would you need a double-header cable? (It would introduce lots of horrible analog electronics issues to have both connected at the same time)
Can you not just use the SCART cable? DBLNTSC high resolution via VGA cable = 640x400 NTSC high resolution interlaced via SCART cable = 640x400 |

Try Samsung Syncmaster or Eizo FlexScan. Viewsonic 28" LCD screen also seems nice, but I haven't googled its specifications.
For games? I'd go for a really good Samsung LCD TV, they always do 50 Hz perfectly and have a bunch of connectors. |

Well I would hope any TV did 50hz perfectly considering thats what they're designed to run at!
