Lightbulb RSI Demomaker Improvement

A little tip for you English speakers - open the main file and do a search in ASCII with your hex editor for QWERT - now change the keymap to what it should be for your computer. The program was written for German keyboards (I think) so swap the Y for Z and vice versa and save the file. Now when you use it, all the letters you type will be correct

You want all 4 disks

God damn, check the 'Zone in about half an hour

Hmm, just checked V2 and thats in french, so I won't bother uploading that, unless of course you want the TWO disks for that. After all it's not really that hard to work out what everything means it's almost exactly the same layout as V1

Let me know if you want it DJay

I know that there was an update version of RSI Demomaker to work under Kickstart 2.0 and Kick 3.0 (some compatibilities problems under those OS and also didnt work under 1MB or 2MB chip RAM - need fast RAM). Does anybody has such version ??? (if yes can u upoald it please ...).

I'll upload V2 for you, as I said it's in french, but appears the same as V1, so it may just be an updated version to run on later kickstarts as you said, anyway it's in the ADF zone

Greetings.

I converted all the text in the RSI DemoMaker to english in Cygnus Editor way back when. The All in one Kit Disk (Demomaker, Vectorball Editor, Vector Editor, FontMaker) and 4 Kit Disks were sold as licenseware through John Slassor at PD Soft in Essex. If you can make contact, you will find the ONLY Fully English version still around to this day. I have the docs on the amiga still that we wrote if anyone wants them. The Demomaker shipped without any instructions at all and was a complete mystery when we got it..... so its all a labor of love.

That is till Zed (David Fletcher, of the famed Virgin Birth Boot) of The Special Brothers Uk (reformed as Phoenix) ripped the disk off and released it as his own, nice punk huh, wonder if he still lives in Hemsworth. Mmm

Anyways, still have everything here, all archived, hope the floppys still read after all this time. If not, John Slassor is the man to contact, they are prolly part of some huge CD compilation by now.

The last known address is:

JOHN SLASSOR
PDSOFT
UNIT 2,
6-8 DURHAM ROAD,
SOUTHEND-ON-SEA,
ESSEX,
SS2 4LU,
UK.

Hope that helps.
