Atari ST Emulator?
I remember back in the day a ST emulator. It was from a crack group or something. It booted up and you pressed F1 F2 or F3 for Low Res, Med Res and Hi Res. It ran exceptionally well. Anyone have this disk?

It should be Chameleon. I never managed to run it on A1200 but it's supposed to work fine on A500.
You can check this thread http://eab.abime.net/archive/index.php/t-1284.html If you've a powerful Amiga, you can check StonX port available on aminet : ftp://de.aminet.net/pub/aminet/misc/emu/STonAmiga.lha http://ftp.uni-paderborn.de/aminet/a...onAmiga.readme Last edited by Frog; 15 September 2004 at 12:03. |

L@@k! Ultra R@re Atari St Emulators!
Akira: You must be wrong about good old Doomy! There is a huge commercial market for Atari ST emulators, and DoomMaster shouldn't accept any less than a few hundred dollars for these sought after items he downloaded!
I can just see following description coming up on EBay: L@@K! ULTRA R@RE ATARI ST EMULATORS Extremely rare original boxed versions of ALL commercial Atari ST emulators! Package includes every ST emulator ever released in MINT condition! These are so rare I am not sure that I should be selling them! If you can think of any ST emulator ever made, it's in this package! There are simply TOO MANY to name here, but believe me they are ALL here, even some that were never released! All boxes have been recently re-shrink-wrapped with my machine, and come with all the original manuals, dongles and product catalogues. Beware of other counterfeit copies going around the net - these are the ORIGINAL versions COMPLETE and in MINT condition. The shipping cost is extremely cheap at only $80 and will be posted high-priority sea mail in a plastic bag. I will ship worldwide but overseas people please add another $120 to cover additional bubble wrap. If you want to insure the items, add another $60. Please check out my other auctions! I also have a large quantity of used Amiga 3.5" disks at only $5 each - they are becoming quite rare now so get in quick! Non-payers will have negative feedback left and I will also hack into your computer using my superior PHP skills and take your credit card numbers because I am the mighty DoomMaster! |

For christs sake, DoomMaster, why do you keep trying to rip people off and trying to sell Copied software? You downloaded it for Free, why are you trying to make a buck by selling the copy? I don't get it. You are not being any help to anyone by doing this. It is one thing to fix, modify or refurbish a hardware part and resell it, and yet another to download a pirate copy of a program and then sell it. People on here are helping each other with rare programs and drivers, not trying to make a profit.
If anyone has this ST Emulator please put it in the Zone. Thanks |

I remember two ST emulators back in the A500 days - Chameleon (already mentioned here) and Medusa. I think I used Medusa more since it was faster. I used it to run that 1stWord software on it...
