Trying to figure out the desktop background thingy

Hi everyone,

Long time lurker, registered today. Cool board here.

I am actually a looong time user who happened to have a long time hiatus from Amiga

I used to own an Amiga 2000 with a damn fast 52 MB SCSI HD

(Sheeeeesh I'm over 30 yrs old, but nothing kicks like an Amiga

) Now I'm again bitten by the Amiga bug

Anyway, to make the story short, I'll come to my question :

I have successfully set up WinUAE on my Windows machine (A1200, 68020+FPU running on WB3.1) with Scalos, MUI, WHDLoad etc. Everything is working fine so far.

I just wanted to tweak the emulator's desktop by adding a nice wallpaper (or an image). But somehow I couldn't figure it out. Is the emulator supporting jpeg, gif or the widely known image formats ? Or do I need to find an Amiga specific file format ?

I'd be glad if anyone could help.

Use Scalos Pattern, which is located in Sys: Prefs/Scalos/.

Any filetype is ok, as long as the relevant Datatype is installed, in Sys: Devs/Datatypes.
