I remember paying something like £75 for a 2400 and later £200+ for a USR14.4 HST... both second hand..
Indeed, the 14.4 had a dodgy buzzing USA/UK power adapter which scared me for ages thinking it would blow up.

I also remember my first forages onto the internet with my "kickass" HST modem would never let me get over a 2400 connection (if that)..

"your link to perfection" I remember Zoltrix bullshitting me saying that they had a conference on that bbs that you could buy weapons on.

They also said some bullshit like you had to upload 1Gig of latest Amiga Warez in 48hrs to get a account.

Haha 1Gig. I'd like to see that.

My Favorite BBS was The Ghetto ... but

then again I was the SYSOP, so my opinion could be a bit biased.

I see some of my comrades are still alive out there, and yes ROTOX was a paying leech member if I remember correctly ... but i think his payments are a few years overdue now...

Hi guys! Pirate's Haven was my BBS back in the day. That's awesome to see it here! It's nice to be mentioned amongst the great BBS's of the day. I was Anthrox WHQ, Crystal USHQ, and a few more that I can't remember now! lol

Anyone remember the /\utospy (Autospy) Top 10 BBS List? I'd like to see some of the old lists from that time again...

Hi Don Dog, nice to see a former colleague at Delight.

I've noticed that you were a DLT USHQ back in 1995. I was the founder of this group.

Would you have any rare/old Delight stuff to share? and/or would you agree to help me add things/locate some members/correct some inaccuracies on the following page I've been working on during my spare time since the beginning of the year?
http://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/Delight

Should you agree, please send me a private message through this website, or e-mail me directly at myname_is_bond[at]yahoo.fr

Thank you!

First post, hello everyone. Well, you can't truly necro a thread about the old days, can you?

The 79th Trac was my go-to warez BBS in the early 90s. I chatted with sysop a few times, and I also sold him an Atari Lynx for which he also threw in a bunch of ratio credit in thanks.
