Artificial Intelligence
I'm trying to track down an app, that i'm sure was on a magazine coverdisk, but I can't remember the name of it at all.
It was a simple artificial intelligence app, that was in a way similar to the more modern A.L.I.C.E. bot - http://alice.pandorabots.com/ The idea was that you would type a sentence into the app, and the bot would reply (as best as it could). It would also learn from the users input, so the more you talked to it, the more intelligent it would become. I'm almost sure it was on a coverdisk, and most likely either AF for CU, although my dad had a few Amiga Shopper & Amiga Computing mags, so could quite possibly be off one of those too. I also think this was somewhere around 92/93 too. I can't narrow it down any further than that sorry. If anyone knows the app I'm talking about, then I'd love to get a copy. Cheers Marc. |

I think the app I was orgininally looking for was Niall, which is also included on AF18 along with the Eliza app.
Looking at the Reacter screenshot, it seems there may be some fun to be had there too |
