Kang Fu works on a CD32. It's one of the worst Amiga games I've ever played.

I'm ashamed to own it.

I have the game (cd.rip) without cdda tracks.....I haven't played it very much but for me it doesn't look bad at all
also this game is a bit exclusive cause it's a platformer and works in high resolution

plz upload it to magix ftp or put it in your website for a cup of days....I wanna try it with cdda tracks and maybe some ppl wanna try it

thanks

Sorry but I'm not even sure where the disk is. I put it away LONG ago, because it REALLY, REALLY is appalling. Being in high-resolution is useless if the graphics are that ugly.

'a bit exclusive' There's a reason this game isn't on any other platform. Because it's soooo bad.

Megarace

I have "Alpha Version 1.41" somewhere (I discovered it in a box of CD-Rs that were whipped from the Commodore UK offices on the day they went bust).

I remember trying it with WinUAE a couple of years back, but after the Lance Boyle intro finished, the emu crashed. Must try it with the latest version some time ...

There was also an early version of some golf game (v0.01 I think) in amongst the CD-Rs, plus lots of buggy/incomplete games, as well as a number of games that were marked with a date and the word "Final" (one day I'll create a load of .ISO files just in case anybody wants to check whether there are any minor differences between these and the final, retail versions).

@retrosale.co.uk: Unbelievable!!! I can't believe that an alpha-version of this game exists, because I read that it was canceled for Commodore-CD32 in all newspapers(CD32 Gamer, AmigaJoker and so on). Can you upload this version to the zone. I'm sure that someone will create a whdload-install or fix it. Pleeeeeeeaaaaaaasssssssseeeeee.
The other stuff seems also very interesting. Please share these versions with the Amiga Comunity. I think it' s time to make it public after such a long time.

ah yes...Rise of the robots is ugly ugly....also I remember another horrible robot-fight game made in Italy with better graphics than Rise but also horrible...I don't remember the name now

but for me Kang fu is not so bad...however I don't think it's a great game
the game was the first commercial intent made by the developers of PFS3....they have not much experience and talent on games
you can't expect a miracle

So there's definite proof that SSF2:TNC never actually came out for the CD³² in the end, rather than it just being REALLY well hidden and obscure?

I know it's not the most reliable of sites , but the Wikipedia article on SFII had this little passage...
Quote:
Capcom later released ports of Super Street Fighter II for PC CD-ROM in 1995 based on the SNES version (ported by Rozner Labs), along with an Amiga CD32 port (converted by Freestyle) released only in Europe. In 1996, GameTek released their own PC CD-ROM port of Super Street Fighter II Turbo (converted by Eurocom) in North America and Europe, as well as a corresponding Amiga CD32 port (converted by Human Soft) in Europe.

So what am I supposed to believe exactly??? It's interesting that a unique company supposedly worked on this exact port though.
