Skate Or Die - Amiga Equivalent?
Hey there folks,
Well, I love Wonderboy on my C-64, but there are plenty of platformers on Amiga format to fill that void. But...I've found no skateboarding games (specifically vert skating) that even come close to Skate Or Die. Is there any sk8 game for the Amiga (OCS or ECS) that is any good? Don't say Skate Of The Art...it's sooooo crap compared to Skate Or Die PZ. |

I'm not really chasing a novelty sk8 game...like Bart Simpson...
The character skating vert in Skate Or Die had no neck, so always looked to my friends and I to be like Steve Cab...made it all the more special, and it wasn't "cartoonish". Thanks anyway, I sincerely apreciate your reply PZ. |

Wonderboy and Skate or Die are awesome, 2 of my favourite games on the C64
You know I've asked myself the same question but unfortunately I don't have a good answer... I can't believe EA released Ski or Die on the Amiga but not Skate or Die |

It's very simple PD game with nice, animated intro, but I don't like main idea - wheelchair 'racing' to top of a hill. I have girlfriend on wheelchair and this game isn't funny for me.

Yes be warned the game could be quite offensive to some.. sorry about that s2325.. however for a PD game it's rather good and could possibly be the closest you'll get to 'Skate or Die'.

I had a friend (who happens to be a girl) in a wheelchair once. She loved the idea of Roll or Die!

I played it tonight and yes, there are strong similarities to Skate Or Die in the gameplay.
Very much appreciated for putting in The Zone for me even though you don't like it s2325 One thing that really bummed me out was that there is no skating... PZ. |
