G-Rex FM801 OS41 sound problem

Hello I tried to install AmigaOS 4.1 with G-Rex using the boot floppy, the installation is successful then I installed update 1 and added the following line
C: BootLoader COMMANDLINE = "GREX NoDiskPager NoRamPager"
everything went well my system
z3 512mb
z3 128 <--- here if I put 256 the system will not start
z3 64
z3 32

then if I put on zorroIII 512mb graphics the system will not start
He works well with 256mb

Use a partition from .hdf 30giga no swap with accelerator Cyberstorm with SFS/02 32768 with blocks and 2,000 buffers that avoids me the invalidation of .hdf also blocking the file copying.

The reason for this new installation and operate the sound card FM801 the card but the sound and feels really bad even for system startup and normal, or something wrong.
I copied FM801 in audiomodes and fm801.audio in ahi, and I updated the mixer.
At the time g-rex is not a solution for audio? There are other solutions?

Thanks for your patience and any help when I can not set up a sound card that works well with your 4.1fe update 1

Zorro3 space is "only" 1GB. Checking GUI Hardware Info panel will help.

Make sure you use real official sound drivers (not some old ones from somewhere random, not mediator ones, not m68k g-rex ones). Unfortunately officially they are only available from non-classic OS41FE CD.. Don't ask!

I don't know (or care as usual ) which one is "right" but I don't think Paula should be listed if you want to use PCI sound card for everything.

Hello Toni are here again, thank you, I fixed the memory now work with 1GB of memory and 512MB zorroIII uaegfx.
I also installed the drivers for the FM801 soundcard, excuse me the question I hope is inherent and not out of place, but drivers who were you referring are those of AmigaOS 4.1 SAM?
because the sound is clean now if I do the test in ahiprefs but just use any application is distorted.
There is a process for the configuration to be done in the right way, thanks to a possible reply if you need I can send a log or other to see if something wrong
Thanks again for your patience

This isn't (most likely) hardware problem anymore: I don't do OS4 or AHI (or even OS3) software support, sorry.

Hello Toni today came out emotion 0.9, now the sound you hear perfectly, use g-rex and sb128, I wanted to ask but it is normal not to see the id of g-rex and the id of the pci card in the information WinUAE?
while in WinUAE-AmigaOS 4.1 in showconfig and written pci working?
Thanks for your patience, but I'm glad for this emulation

There is no IDs listed because G-REX is not an autoconfig board, it is hardwired to outside of autoconfig space.

PCI boards don't have IDs listed because I haven't bothered with it

G-REX being outside of Z3 autoconfig space is good thing (at least in OS4 emulation), it leaves full 1G available for Z3 RAM and RTG RAM.

With Mediator or Prometheus you would lose 256M (or more) of Z3 space.

Also, I wanted to alert you with a mediator, if this can be useful sb128 is not recognized if you put z3 over 512mb in the first slot at least in my system
I had to do so
512
128
64
32
and it works with mediator
Thanks again for your answers

Ciao Toni, I'm having problems with "FM801 (Fortemedia)", both Mediator and with or G.Rex, the sound is very distorted and sends me into WinUAE crashes. I attach the file config and file dmp.

Do you use official drivers? (must be from non-classic OS41FE install CD). Any other driver: unsupported!

You have more than 1G Z3 space used. Config is invalid if any Z3 board has address >= 0x8000000 in Hardware Info. (marked in grey color)

Also, switch off JIT. It is useless in OS4 emulation. JIT enabled + automatic Z3 mapping mode and "too much" Z3 space = UAE mode gets select and it is OS4 incompatible.

EDIT: Above is true only if OS4. Pre-OS4 does not care.

Thank you Toni, the translation does not help me to understand, make no mistake, which CD contains the right drivers?
