A2000 motherboard looks bad

Hi there! I was triyng to install a scsi controller to my a2000 and I found this

The machine works fine except left mouse button is not working, but I suspect it may be one of the cia's (I'll try to swap them to see if it solves that problem).

Any advices? it can be repaired before it breaks?

Best regards.

Wow! That track looks like it's taken a surge of current at one time.

If it all seems to be working OK (except the left mouse button), then I don't think you ought to attempt a repair (since it's not actually broken), but rather should protect the exposed track from tarnishing by applying some clear nail varnish.

Which point is that going to? -11v?

Have a 4000T board here, where the -11v had a short on it and it burnt the track through the layers (internal tracks), completely destroyed the board, .

For your mouse problem, check the DB9 connector first. I had one the had 2 pins pushed in. I fixed it by replacing the DB9 connector on MB.

can't you in the future, solder a jumper bypassing the damaged metal strip?
