Greetings.
![]() Here is a link to an updated pack, please note this pack is for Hi-Res LACED!! so if your using 640*512 on a SCART or RGB connection, then this is the pack for you. iGame Artwork Hi-Res Laced ... the sauce These will work on OCS/ECS machines, but as they are 32 colours, they do look kinda funky. Trawling through these with an 020, is a slow affair, and takes about 2.5 seconds to open each image. An 030 @50mhz is a tad quicker, an 060 @66mhz, takes a "blip" to open, and with a V1200, it's instant. How these look, will depend on your display, your desktop colour depth etc. If someone can download these, and host them somewhere, then that's great, as long as my work is credit, and not omitted.... these took an age to do. Hi-Res only users, I am sorry, but your wait will be worth it, there is a new set on it's way, that has more games, and looks far better, also, if there is enough interest, i will do a set for OCS/ECS machines, maybe with a locked palette etc. thanks |

Thanks so much, Pollock!
For posterity, you (or someone else) can upload them to the FTP which is generally where things get uploaded if we want them to stick around for a lifetime. You would upload them into your own directory so it'll be forever known that it's your work. You could also include a readme file just to drive the point home. ![]() |

Thanks - just an FYI it looks like some game data got archived as well - nothing major (I saw Godfather / Pinkie and a few others when it was extracting).
Just a quick query - whatever utility I'm using to view IFF seems to close displaying the picture for a half second. Using ClassicWB - any ideas how to get the program to stay open or an alternative viewer? M. |

Well that was a mistake... stupidly I had some free time tonight so thought I'd download / re-upload Pollock's archive to the Amiga File Server.
Of course I ended up taking a look at the data; which in turn ended up being a manual, painful, cleanup process ![]() Anyway, here's what I've done: Deleted ".DS_Store" files: Finally, LHA'd everything up (so that it can be extracted easily on an Amiga and Windows computer), then uploaded the file "iGame.image.pack.V11.HRL.lha" to the Amiga File Server under the following directory: ~Uploads/Pollock This whole process took roughly 3 hours... which is not surprising really when there's this many folders ![]() |

you're a champ, and my bad, i am sorry, more haste, less speed. thank you again for taking the time to organise it, in my defense, i had just done these for myself with no intent of anyone ever seeing them, and after showing them to a friend, he suggested sharing them. Your time was well spent
![]() ![]() thanks again, i am eternally in your debt ![]() is anyone using them? i would be interested to read what you think. |

There's no way in hell that you need to appologise Pollock.
As you've said, I can't imagine how long it actually took to create, tweak, perfect, put into the required folder structure, and finally test these ![]() I just thought I'd assist and upload somewhere convenient for all EAB members. The small mistakes you've made are nothing... trust me, I know how difficult it is when creating / managing a collection... it's taken over 15 years of my life in regards to my personal one, see here ![]() Anyway, the irony is that I personally will never use these, as I have no need. |
