Calephar & Brain Drain

Does anyone know if these two games were ever released.

They are not mentioned in HOL, nor on Twistin Ghost's MIA master list.

Calephar was featured on Amiga Format coverdisk 59b (You can see a screenshot here: http://amiga.emugaming.com/af/af059b.jpg)

Both games were by Belgian Company Future Software.

Calephar is a vertically scrolling SEU, and Brain Drain is a puzzle game.

I've removed the hyperlink. I was not aware of that rule and I thought it better to link to the image than try to embed it in the page forcing people to view it.

I'm fairly certain that neither ever were released.....at least not commercially.

@Duke
The HOL entry for Calephar should be marked "Unreleased" because we have no objective proof that it was ever released other than in demo form.

Well we have no objective proof that it was not released either, but I agree, the chance is higher that it never saw the light of the day. I have edited the entry.

Thanks Duke.....it will save us problems if anyone makes a request for the game here or to the HOL team list.

I will dump the game soon, as a friend of mine got contacted by the programmer. Once he mails me, i will ask him to send me the disk and then dump it ^^.

THE GAME IS UNRELEASED AND THE DISK IS PROTECTED

Well Calephar is found, but what about Brain Drain. See below for a preview (from Amiga Dream no. 12). Calephar was previewed in the same issue, same publisher (Visual Impact)

I've noticed the thread, please excuse my late reply.

Brain drain has been aborted as an amiga project, however, contrarily to calephar, it was deemed sufficiently original a project to persue. As such, brain drain made it commercially to... the game boy.

You'll find several infos on the visual impact site and gamespot.
