MT-32 ROM Ver 2.07
Hi All,
it's a long shot, but I am looking for a dump of the last MT-32 ROM revision, 2.07, for my MT-100. It is having a hard time receiving too much data from my X68000 emulator and freezing. The last ROM revision should fix this. Has anyone got this ROM in their MT-32(new)? If so, could they dump it? It would be MUCH appreciated In hope.... Col Update: looks like the original EPROM has 'bit-rot'. I would suggest that anyone who has a MT32/MT100 backs up their ROM before it happens to you! Managed to download it, thanks mate.
I'll have to check which version this ROM is, it's only the last incarnation I'm interested in (i.e. 2.07). Need to burn it to my MT100 eprom. Last edited by Amicol; 25 August 2014 at 18:28. |

Cannot you email Roland?
I imagine the only one you'll find on the internet is the same version everyone has that works with SCUMMVM etc. Or maybe there's a Roland forum you could ask, I'm sure if you prove you own one they would be forthcoming. |

Hi Ian,
It seems that you need to own a registered Roland product to contact them. It's a little too late to register my MT32 I also suspect that support for MT32 related products has ceased to be. I know that the last ROM was in some MT32 (new) machines, (i.e. The second incarnation with the headphone jack at the back). I was hoping someone with the ability to dump ROM's would see my thread and oblige. Long shot, as mentioned before. But worth a shot. Great machine the MT100, it deserves to be revived |

To raise the profile of your thread, I am prepared to move it - temporarily at least- into the request.Other forum in the main area of the board. Hope that helps! |
