CoLD SToRAGE - STRIX MEMORIA ◔

A little bit old news.
Hurry before it's to late, buy the album here at CoLD SToRAGE for only £10. You can download it as FLAC or MP3. Album was released as limited digital download on 08 December 2013.

These sound pretty funky. I like Lemmings! Might have to get this when I get access to comp!

Cool. Cold Storage did the awesome music for the Sega Saturn version of Wip3out - Playstation 1 version had licensed music from Sony Music (e.g. music by Prodigy).

A correction...Tim did the sound effects and then totally burnt himself out doing 8 music tracks on the original WipEout in 2 weeks (thanks to music licensing options falling through and creating a bit of an emergency). They were all used on both the Playstation and Saturn versions. He did 2 tracks for Wipeout 2097 on the Playstation and then a further 8 for the Saturn. He didn't have anything to do with Wip3out, which was the 3rd incarnation of the series.

Anyway. Go and buy his disc. He's put tons of effort into it.

Are the Saturn Wipeout2097 tracks the same ones that are in the PC/Amiga version?

Definitely the PC one and probably the Amiga one. Seeing as Tim and I were employees, 100% of our work was owned by Sony, so using Tim's tracks meant there were no licensing complications.

I bought the psygnosis logo usb stick version which comes in a tin. Its fantastic! I know Tim has had to do alot to get this out, and faced many problems that he overcame. Its well worth the money to anyone considering buying it.

Yeah, sorry. I was thinking in l33t mode I did mean WipEout (just checked my game box). The 3rd incarnation was never released on the Saturn, and I'd forgotten their even was a 3rd game.

Did anyone manage to grab the full archive?? I paid for and started downloading (only got the first 40MB of 225MB) on dial-up, but had to stop. I was going to download the rest today, only to find the link no longer works (It appears to have been removed, so it was a very limited release)
