Simple one: Curly braces

Okay,

I've installed Amikit and Cubic IDE. But I'm stumped. Where are the curly braces?

On my A4000 keyboard, they are on the numpad numlock key, but that doesnt work well in a windows environment.

lol

I have no idea about your software environment, but on my A1200 keyboard {which has ( on NumL and ) on ScrL} and my genuine IBM PC keyboard the curly braces are on Shift-[ and ].

Me too, but when inside WinUAE, if I press numl, it toggles num lock for my windows machine. On an norwegian keyboard {} are at altgr-7 and altgr-0 (that is the right alt key).

8 and 9 has () and [] (shift and altgr respectivly).

On Amiga the {} is on the numeric keyboard as you say, but when I look through the keyboard configuration under winuae config window, I can't find it.

So I hoped someone else who also code under winuae could tell where to find it?

So far I've copy pasted one pair, which I duplicate... Very tedious - LOL

No, I said that on my A1200 { and } are in exactly the same place as on my IBM keyboard, i.e. shift-[ and ], not on the numeric keypad at all. YMMV if you use a non-UK keyboard.

"Unfortunately" PC num pad top row key labels are not same as in Amiga. Default mapping them like in Amiga would be really confusing for most users.

You need to remap (using Input-panel) "Numpad Left Parenthesis" and "Numpad Right Parenthesis". (Note that only recent betas support numlock remapping)

Thank you Toni, I understand what you're saying here. Now it's just a question for me how to configure it in a userfriendly way so that I remember how I configured it ! :-D
