Lovely looking CD & case inlay, fits in so much better with a Amiga CD collection than going the DVD case route.

I need a bit more time.
But I think, I'll use a temporary solution next month.

Almost completed the game during the weekend Amiga party. People there liked it. Nice game. The only suggestion, if there will be any update in future: please, do the dialogues skippable.

Awesome!

It was a conscious decision to do unskippable text boxes to reduce as much gfx corruption as possible and to prevent from skipping unread texts.

BTW, thanks again for the Lemon entry.
It´s very annoying that mailman is constantly "down voting" ALL AMIworx releases although I´m pretty sure he didn´t play e.g. HOG.

Dialogs are okay as long as you play the game for the first time. On the 2nd and 3rd run it is annoying, because delays are VERY long.

Hi Viddi.

By releasing your work to the public you should also expect critical reaction.

I'd also downvote you, because the game is still made in backbone. You should really try to work with a coder next time. Right now I'm playing Trap Runnner, which has 50 fps on stock A500, and is free to download.

BTW, I bought a copy of the first TOG, to support you in the beginning, and give you encouragement for the future. And I'm totally dissappointed you decided to pursue with creating games in Backbone which is very slow and limited. If you can't find an ASM coder, at least try with Amos or RedPill.

Anyway, you also get a lot of positive feedback here from a lot of guys, so why worry with mailman's opinion ?

No probs with critical reactions, guys.
You don´t have to love my games.

As far as I know Reshoot is 50 fps...well it´s not the best game in the world and it´s by another person...But yeah, a "2" rating must be right then.

Your certainity is proving you wrong. I downvote them because in my opinion they deserve such mark. I am not the person who blindfolded will clap my hands to any production that sees the light of day. It is obvious that you put a lot of effort into your creations but maybe for a moment do some sober recollection and take a look at it from another perspective. I bet you play your games and you must see their flaws. And these are not the things why you put your interest in Amiga long time ago. Take as an example games created by Night Owl Design or guys who created Tanks Furry. This is how Amiga games in 21st century should look like and how they should play.

Nevertheless if you keep doing your games and keep having a good fun out of it - go ahead - nobody stops you. However, as long as you make them public and you want people to buy them, do not forbid the audience rate them and accept it - no matter how harsh they can be. Critisism is always good - you just need to be wise enough to understand it and learn your lesson out of it.

He he, mailman.
I know and love your discussions over at ppa.pl.

"I downvote them because in my opinion they deserve such mark."

And thanks for proving me right, that you downvote without playing my games.

But please let us stop this shit.
Hundreds of Amigans love my stuff.

I think I stated clearly why I rated 2 for Reshoot. It is a bad game - and it doesn't matter it has 50 fps.

First of all - I don't have to share opinion of hundreds. I have my own mind and I give my own opinions nobody can tell me not to.

Second of all - it is strange that is boards allows such language just only because somebody's opinion is not going your way.

It´s all good.
All I wanted to say is: let´s stop this discussion.

And as stated above:
I have no problems with your opinion at all.
But I´d never rate a game without playing it.
This doesn´t make sense.

But hey, I´m working in the music industry...do you really think negative feedback for an Amiga game can hurt me?

My intention is not to hurt you. I guess you need to read more careful.

I voted 7. I like some elements of the game (music, leveldesign, triggers / traps, ideas like frozen river), I dislike some (dialogues, bad collision detection vs environment, strange levels choosing) and I considers other acceptable (graphics, game controls). So in my opinion 7 is okay.

Please others - vote for the game too: http://www.lemonamiga.com/games/details.php?id=4305 - positive or negative, to have some wide overview.
