Nibbler +3HFD - Lost for 28 years c64 game re-surfaces!

Quote:
Here's some fantastic news for you C64 owners as Laxity have released 'NIBBLER';a C64 game that has been lost for 28 years has now been cracked with cheats for your retro gaming enjoyment. First to appear in 1984 by Roland and Martin, you play as a snake that must eat apples and pellets before the score runs to 0 or you end up eating your own body.

Nice
I remember this game, but i thought it was called 'Squirm' (or similar).
Anyway was a lot of fun back then. I'm going to try again today.

Is there an uncracked version of this available? What protection did it use?

Strange... I'm sure I had a very similar game on my C64 - but the name escapes me. Might have been PACMAN though lol.

Probably none. Laxity have a reputation for "cracking" games without protection and training games which don't require cheats.

I don't understand... Was this program unreleased?
Or was it indeed "lost", meaning that nobody had a copy/image of it anymore (until now)?

I believe it was published in a magazine then it was lost through the ages, now it's appeared via Laxity

Or I could be talking complete bollocks
