A thing i would suggest to improve the board really:
i recall this color theme kinda metallic blue was the one RCK used on the board before EABwich was cool because of bio-metallic inserts here and there. but now i would like to see something new. i know that this doesn't add to the substance of the community, however it would be nice

Maybe user selectable skins? Although personally I'm not really bothered.

It says EAB2 and EAB3 skins, you learn something everyday, although is this what you mean marco?

I wish there was bingo.

lol, did you were here six month ago when I launched EAB3 ? there was a lot of discussions about the skin system, especially with Bloodwych and Mr Creosote who were looking to every mistake I made in the EAB2 skin

Yes, I remember which is why I said it would be good if users could define the skin to stop those arguments occuring! I actually meant that it could be completely customisable, then you could make everyone happy

I like things as they are, I'm used to the EAB3 now.

How about letting users create skins for eab and if they are good enough make them available for selection

What, they did what?

Oh, you mean these tiny little comments?

http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=13363

Well, like to keep you busy Rck. We certainly mentioned one or two things I must admit - certainly appreciate that you listened to our whining.

Seriously, I still like the old EAB 2 look better and have it selected as my default skin. Some new themes would be cool I guess, they worked quite well at the old EMU-UK site, but probably not worth the extra work.

whops sorry i have should be more specific, i ment alternate color themes, for instance a "fisken 2005 parade" all in shades of pink, a "fred new york life" a pois green on fuxia, an all white for grave mentally insanes like me etc
wich reports me to my prior statement: i know that we cant be both happy, the user AND the programmer
anyway not such an important feature as i said

The EAB3-skin is extremely eye-cancer inducing

hehe - that's not a problem

The thing that annoyed me is that some code had to be written to only show the hour your ban is lifted. I can only presume that the BB software authors did this out of malice.

I mean, your actually ban time is stored in DD/MM/YY HH:MM format in the database table, so they actually lifted the HH by itself and added a ":00" to the end of it just to further annoy the banned user

Nothing. I love it just how it is.

It's great.

It's funny.

Everybody is nice, honest and it's a true "sticky pants for all" worthwhile time.

My suggestion to make EAB better is to have a picture of me on the front page with the title "Ironclaw rules!".. maybe too much to ask for...
