Will this lame cut-down version of Terratec 512i work with G-Rex4000D ???
I got ebay boned. instead of this: a full and normal 512i card, I got the one below... it sucks, and the seller m-ware is emailed. I think it is a shipping error , but we'll see... do u think it will work? currently I don't have an AOS installed on my 4000, and until some scsi equipmet arrives, I cannot tell if it will work or not... any info?

Sure doesn't look like a Terratec 512i to me
What a lame-ass seller What does it say on the card? Does it even has a FM801 chip? |

no , it is a 512i , most likely a value edition... it is FM801 based, and the terratec driver finds is as a 512i, but this is not what it is pictured! damn!
the seller is great, I got tons of old hw from there, but this time I got boned. lol |

@Keropi
Wonderful! Can you give me their email address or Ebay ID please? I'm hoping that they might have another Terratec 512i to sell me. |

Thanks Keropi!
I ended up getting lucky and persuading a German Ebayer to sell me a brand new card outside of Germany for 10 EUR: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=160024661019 Airmail will cost me 30 EUR, but I expected that and am not fussed since it's a brand new card |
