I probably have been hinted at it by you, ant! Can't remember. There was a thread I started just when I got my 1200 where I asked about addons and people replied with nice suggestions, but I couldn't find it! |

Those nice game icons is from NewIcons right? MultiCX does that already have the ' Patcher ' tool for example? |

Btw, can "we" start with the network bit first? Since transfering stuff through Serial is boooooring... it takes so much time... Last edited by Eny-; 24 June 2004 at 02:15. |

Hehe the room is new now because I moved, should take some piccies I guess ;D
MultiCS doesn't include Installer. It's a patcher, not a multi-utility thingy. You have to download that from Aminet, yes. As for the network bit, I bet Miami can get through to your NEC card with some generic driver, but you said you had AmiTCP going already, so cool. Dunno about Samba since I haven't installed it ever You shoudl be more specific thabn "I cannot install Samba"... why can't you install it? |

I've decided to give it a go at WinUAE...It's a lot faster that messing with the real thing... i can transfer all back to my miggy afterwards can i?
The WinUAE config. should be: CPU Type: 68020+FPU <Blizz FPU> CPU E. S.: Fastest possible... Cache Size: 0mb Chipset: AGA Misc Chipset opt: Cycle exact... Collision Level: Full ROM: 3.0 RAM: Chip 2mb ~ Z3-Fast: 8mb <8m SIMM from the Blizz> Is this right? [ Real A1200 < 3.0 Rom : Blizzard 30@50+FPU > ] |

Probably, I don't know. Maybe the emulator doesn't react 100% like your Amiga will so be careful, you night end up with different results in your REAL config.
If I had a network card I would try to help you with Samba but I really can't get access to one. Have you got this program? http://ftp.uni-bremen.de/pub/aminet/comm/tcp/smbfs.lha It will mount your PC drives in the Amiga if I'm correct. It's easier to set up than Samba. The config is wrong BTW, you must set it for 68030 + FPU Dunno if you can do that in the emu though. |

I've tried SMBFS already same results as Samba.. ok i'm a newbie... i may by installed but can't use it!
Btw... i would prefer Samba so it can map the miggy drives on the PC, not the way around as SMBFS does it... --- As for the setup, i've installed: -BlazeWCP -FBlit -FastView -MUI -MultiCX -MagicMenu It's that all? What about those nice looking icons? NewIcons? Last edited by Eny-; 24 June 2004 at 15:54. |
