Killing game show problems

Hey I'm having some problems running killing game show (shame because i really loved this game ) I'm using the skid row cracked version and if you load the intro disk then it seems to just get stuck on flashing green and blue lines, the same happens on the "hang on a sec" screen if you load the game disk. Anyone got a solution to this? :-/ thanks tonnes in advance

Not quite sure about KGS, but I know a deal of cracked games did have you switch disks sometimes and signaled this by flashing the screen. you'd switch disk and press mouse/fire/space/etc... and the game would load on. Have you tried this?

My memory is real rusty here, but I don't think you can run the intro disk and then the game. I think you have to boot either the intro or the game (but not sequentially).

I don't remember it ever reseting after the intro on my real Amiga, but your right every version does reset after the title screen when the intro has finished, which leads me to believe my memory is wrong.

If someone who still has their real Amiga has a few minutes spare, could you check this out?

Off-Topic:- Twist, can you check your PM's, I'm itching to upload

You can just load into the game but you get the saem stripes on the "Hang on a sec" screen, I think a friend of mine had the skid row copy and it might have done this really but it was only for a second then they game loaded :/ Could it be this cracked copy thats buggy with uae perhaps? Any ideas where I could get another?

Well, all of that failed, so let's take a few steps back.

Are you using WinUAE or WinFellow? If WinUAE, which version? Which config? Without this info, it could be any of a number of things and impossible to do anything but hazard wild guesses.

Can you up your version of the game? Maybe yours has errors.

Unlikely, as long as he hasn't registered.

And, of course, the only way to truly benefit from the EAB team resources is to register.

File Seek problem

The Killing Game Show crack by Skid Row and Valhalla only ever did the wavy lines shit if it couldn't access the files properly, so either the disk is damaged, there is a file missing or WinUAE doesn't like EuroSofts loader

I have uploaded my version of KGS. Cracked and trained by skid row. Works perfectly for me. Didn't read anything of Valhalla.

By the way: I didn't know there is an intro disk. Can someone upload it please ?

That intro disk is common, can be found in the TOSEC dats and on the handful of sites that host these files. The Zone is for rare games requests. The FAQ area of the board discusses how to find common games.
