Freezer: Action Replay Mk III v3.09 (splitted ODD EVEN)

i used SPLIT2 with "Freezer: Action Replay Mk III v3.09" and the two parts (ODD EVEN) doesn't have the correct CRC32 reported in WinUAE source code.

I know that WinUAE ignore first 4 bytes of Action Replay roms to compute CRC32

so i tried to set to 00 the first 2 bytes of splitted roms
doing this the ODD part have correct checksum (1d35bd56) but the EVEN part doesn't match the WinUAE checksum (2b84519f)

i also tried to set first 2 bytes of EVEN part to FF but again the result is incorrect checksum

why? bad checksum in WinUAUE source?

split2 used with "Freezer: Action Replay Mk I v1.50" give parts with the same checksum in WinUAE, the problem is present only with "Freezer: Action Replay Mk III v3.09"

3.09 is the only properly dumped AR version (desoldered ROM chips and dumped using ROM reader)

Even ROM starts with 50 00 41 54..
Odd ROM starts with 00 00 43 49..

There is no interleave. Simply binary add the 2 together but in the order extended and then Kickstart

Wrong. Get a real CD32 and (EP)ROM reader first..

I'm probably missing something here but I have a fully working v3.17 ROM, which I ripped using Action Replay's very own "Sysop mode". So far I never encountered any problem using it in WinUAE.

It works fine, it simply isn't full 100% real dump. First 4 ROM bytes can't be read using software dump method (they are IO ports). Easy test: dump with and without breakpoints enabled and compare files
