As is well known, the same DIN5 <-> MiniDIN6 adapters can be used to change the connector type on both PC and Amiga keyboards if you want to use a minidin keyboard in a din5 machine or vice versa. |

Thanks Jope. I have tried a ps/2 (minidin6) KEYBAORD in the aux port in an unexpanded cd32 and it didnt work. So if i have a sx32, if i put the ps/2 keybaord in the aux port it will work when that is plugged in becuase i cant see a port on sx32 itself?

The SX32 doesnt have a keyboard input.
The CD32 takes a regular A4000 keyboard on the AUX port, or an A2000/A3000 using a passive adapter (AT->PS2) If you want to use a PS2 keyboard you'll need an ACTIVE adapter such as the Lyra Last edited by alexh; 08 May 2009 at 15:13. |

But what if you have a SX32? It claims to have a PC keybaord adapter built in.

I *think* that is an SX32-PRO only feature.
If you have an SX32-PRO there is a jumper on the motherboard to select between Amiga or PC keyboard. http://www.ianstedman.co.uk/Amiga/Pa...2_jumpers.html I do not see corresponding jumpers for SX32 or SX32 MKII |

Thanks, I think you may be right looking at it from the high res pics. Just an annoying extra expense for the Lyra.

You mean a 1200, then yes.
You say the 4000 fits, I saw this on ebay. Looks like AT to me? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AMIGA-A4000-KE...3A1%7C294%3A50 |

I have modified CDTV keyboard. The modification is very simply. Switch cables on internal connector in CDTV keyboard (1-4 and 2-3).

Alex, Have you used the Lyra on CD32? I cant find anywhere that confirms it works.
Solaris, I dont want to risk breaking the keybaord by cutting the cables |

No, but it will work cos regular Amiga keyboards work.
If you have an Amiga keyboard at home why not just use that. If it is a CDTV keyboard, make an external converter cable? |
