How is my website doing?

I have worked hard to make www.discreetfx.com over the past few months. It works on all Amiga webbrowsers/Netscape/Opera and even the dreaded IE as well. It loads fast even though it has graphics content and is built with expansion in mind. But I respect the critics @ EAB what their very important opinion. So guys how am I doing???

I'm still thinking the "Comic sans MS" is not a professionnal Font

Be carefull at your email addresses on the bottom left, cause even if they are not linked, the spam bots will find them.

Thanx RCK, I was thinking about changing all the e-mail addresses on my site to graphics, what do you think?

Using Phoenix 0.5, 1024x768. On the start page, I have to scroll right a lot, because the advertisement is next to the text. On all the other pages, the bottom line doesn't look right - see attachment.

Paul: Sorry for the off-topic question, but I read the following on the Firebird site:

PLEASE NOTE: You should create a new profile for Mozilla Firebird 0.6.

You must also delete your old Mozilla Firebird directory rather than just overwriting the files there.
Does that mean I have to kill all my preferences, my bookmarks and everything when I upgrade?

Yes I think so, but not 100% sure I installed this after a fresh reinstall of xp (due to AOL8 messing things up.)

I do know that you can backup your bookmarks and re import them after (My Mozilla 1.3 bookmarks imported ok)

Ah - exporting and importing could do the trick. Why didn't I think of that myself?

RCK - the French government has banned words such as e-mail.

You must now say courrier electronique or courriel instead of e-mail.

The Spam Report on how and why spam gets sent to your address and the best ways to prevent it is a very good read.

Indeed.

If you do convert it to a graphic you might want to add ALT tags to retain w3c compliance, which becomes law on public domain websites soon. Shocking but true.

If you do insert ALT tags don't do the obvious and put your email inside it as the bots will find that too.
