Where would I find a floppy power supply unit?

Aside from the Kryoflux web store; they're all out.

You can use any old PC-AT or -ATX PSU for this, as long as you link the PowerGood line to get the PSU to start up properly.

You can get mains power supplies with a Molex connector (the type that hard disks have) on eBay for about GBP 2.50 incl. shipping. For example this one.

Get one of those and a Molex to floppy connector adaptor for GBP 1.03 like this one.

I have no connection with those sellers so can't vouch for them.

Thanks; I'll look over your replies when my brain is working. Very tired right now.

But good to know it's doable.
