Just had a go with this. The game ends rather abruptly at game over point, with no high score table, so I'd would recommend players take a screenshot with Zero lives remaining and on their last health. If this sounds too risky, the game also lets you wait on the customs screen, after all bonuses are totalled up.

Could we choose 5 health instead of the default 4, and 5 lives - just to make this a bit easier?

Yes, I've got no issue with that at all. Might help make it more accessible.

So, do we have to choose 5 lines of energy and 5 lives?

I'll probably be not playing (as I am not taking part of the league overall), but just a little warning.

This is the last boss:

http://hol.abime.net/pic_full/screen...9_screen55.png

If you happen to beat him (and I guess many people will, the game is not too hard), you'll get the normal "bonus rewards" screen, then after you leave that screen you'll never see your score again. If I remember correctly you have to press fire to leave that screen and your score is shown all the time there. Get your screenshot/picture there, because after that screen you get the ending animation/credits roll and never see your score again.

Score handling in this awesome game is extremely stupid.

It really wasn't meant to be played for score, I guess, even with the secret bonus and all.

Nowadays the game would have achievements, not score

I really think some older games only have score because it was the norm back at the day.

And this game is indeed awesome, I really, *really* love it Undoubtly one of my favs on the system.

That's now in the rules I mean, you can choose less if you want to, if you're feeling masochistic, as it'll actually put you at a disadvantage, but I'd personally rather everybody stuck to the rules so we're all on the same page.

Played a bit and reached the flying carpet level... hopefully I will improve my performance and I'll post a score soon.

First attempt. This is a lot of fun - just a shame the flying level is rubbish.

To be honest I am not enjoying the game as much as I expected... maybe it's just that the image on my system isn't centered and so I can't see my score while I'm playing...

Anyway I died just a bit after the screenshot, in the mines of diamonds.

The game isnt centred on my screen for some reason, I'm using emulation, and have to switch the Filter to Automatic Centering, or Default.

With WinUAE you can easily center the image pixelexact.

Great score, mate!
Is that the final boss?

I've found the way to center the image on my system:
I have an Indivision MK2 and the resolution I use for the games is 640x512 with a vertical offset of "14" in order to have the image centered. It seems that the offset is necessary for all the games except for Arabian Nights.

Had exactly the same problem, but slightly different. FS-UAE outputs three images when you screenshot; CROP, REAL and FULL. Only the latter shows the top bar with hands and score.

I think so. Once I emptied his lifebar he got another and moved differently. He also looks like a vizier who seems to be the main antagonist in every middle eastern tale.
