But OpenOCD + USBBlaster will work if you have patience to figure out whats needed. Or just get a cheap chinese clone and find an old laptop and install Xilinx 10.1. |

Driving the ATA/IDE interface from the CPU as done on A1200/A600 and these cards, will only meet the spec timing if there is nothing else on the bus. The Amiga chipset and other devices load the bus and IDE compatibility is borderline, in theory. Signals should transition from 0-1 or 1-0 in 3-10ns to be compliant. If I'm right, it may explain why some compact flash cards fail. This is not a criticism of the Terriblefire designs, just a comment on IDE stability issues on the Amiga platform. |

Be carefull with them, it's not clear, what kind of FPU's the seller is offering, it can be 33Mhz, 25 or even 16Mhz, it will be hard to win the dispute after then (the picture shows 25Mhz fpu, it will fail on 50Mhz)..

The freescale ones work well - if they are the ones you are referring to. I have one in my A4k at 25MHz it works fine. I've ordered some for my TF530 guessing they will do 50MHz easily.

But who cares? Get 4 and if they are fake use them to wedge a table up 1cm. Still cheaper than Ikea. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Couple of years ago I was able to program some XC9536XL CPLD with a homemade cable like this one:
It worked using an old Impact version. Dont know if it will work with newer versions though |

plasmab,
Enjoying your videos and work immensely! Its a bit late in the game to suggest a project that could be of use to yourself and other hardware developers expanding on the CPU relocator module, Have you thought to make one for the kickstart ROM, locating it to below your(and others) CPU card and above the memory. Put a ZIF socket on there for the ROM/DiagROM to sit in Hopefully should prolong the lifespan of your development motherboards Kind Regards Justin |

I've got a design for a flashrom board, but it's not in-circuit programmable - Kipper2k had a design for one which should have been programmable from the Amiga OS, but it stalled due to Vampire activity I think?

A batch of TF530 Rev 2s arrived today and a few are left on a popular auction site.

Hello dear Stephen,
can i, please, post You one of my board for test? I have assembled three Rev.2 boards till now using Xilinx and memory chips from different suppliers - all three running very unstable on different speeds and firmwares. I have tryed to locate the problem by myself, have even swapped out CPU socket on my A500+ board, but TF still crashing once get warm. (33/40Mhz, No overkclocking!) I know at least one member who have same issues, i like You take a look at it, and maybe find the issue.. Thank You |
