Is there a IPF dump of the USA version? There is a WHDLoad version install.

SPS [0666] (v1.00) and SPS [0287] (v1.00 alt) are both EU 2 disk versions. There are also 1 disk versions eg Astra Pack compilation. http://softpres.org/games

The HOL shows the NTSC version was published by Konami while the EU PAL version was published by Renegade.

There are "fixed" NTSC versions by Defjam on the EAB server but no IPF.

The 1 Disk version is a different game as that's Powerplay: The Game of the Gods.

On ebay are a few copies of the Konami release of GODS and all of them show 2 Disks, HOL also states 2 Disks for the Konami release!!

Blame devs for having games with similar names in them

What on earth is with eBay pricing of the Konami version in the US? $300? $500? $800? Are people on drugs?

I know, it’s insane. I’d like to buy a copy but not at $300.

eBay prices for rare Amiga games are pretty crazy. Don't think they'll sell, but people don't seem to mind to just have them listed forever. Here's a rare German game that has been listed for months:

And here the 'cheap' alternative (that might be missing the manual):

I have the US release of Gods. Can I make an .ipf without a kryoflux? I have a USB 3.5” drive for my PC.

If it's a cheap slim usb drive you could swap out the cable on it for a Drawbridge cable by Rob Smith. The Drawbridge does low resolution SCP and ADF files, SCP for copy protected disks and adf for standard disks.
The SCP's are not high resolution images like the Greaseweazle and Kryoflux and the Drawbridge USB drive is much fussier about disk errors than a full size Greaseweazle or Kryoflux drive so that is something to consider.

To make an ipf, the scp is converted with Keir Frasers' Disk-Analyse from the disk utilities package on Github or [precompiled] from the "Making Your Own IPF's thread on EAB.

If you have A1200 you can use KryoFlux FREE software:

I used the tool and dumped the raw files and uploaded them to the Zone. This is my original copy of the US Konami Gods release. Hopefully the disks are still good.

Can dflrsilver verify and convert them to .ipf? I have more US originals that aren't in SPS yet.

Thanks!

Hmm, are you 100% certain this is an original ?

There doesn't seems to be any protection, no copylock or anything.

[edit]
Aah, this one has manual protection.

I found it at HOL.
https://amiga.abime.net/games/view/gods#manuals
I've put adfs in the zone, no ipf since disk 2 has highscores saved.

Bummer, I bought this off EBay a few years ago. Whoever owned it didn’t make backups before they used it then. I didn’t know that there was a high score table in the game.

Well, it’s an uncracked original, which is ultimately what matters. I am putting together a WinUAE configuration collection of only original disks. With a HDR 4k monitor and Reshade, WinUAE can display exactly what my 1084 shows. With this,I don’t really bother with my real hardware anymore. The upscalers, such as the Indivision, do not display the colors correctly. This became evident to me when I sourced a 1084 and had both the upcaled LCD and 1084 side by side.

Anyone interested, John Novak put this together.

Thank you!

Only Disc 1 is NTSC. Disc 2 is the same as euro release.

You can pick Gods IPF 666 disc 2 to put like new your original.

I made an ADF compare, out of the hiscores on track 0.0, the content is 100% the same.
