SimEarth Error 2

I am confused! There is nothing in the documentation that mentions this error. I would like to play with this Software Toy, but Error 2 won't let me. Has anyone encountered this error, and is aware of the solution?

Very odd. . . I still have no idea what Error 2 is, but the images that are tagged as being cracked by SR work just fine.
