Slightly off topic, but...
In my country (Serbia) we were under heavy sanctions in 90's, so getting an original game was kind of illegal. Not saying that getting cracked game was legal (or ok), but anyway, a weird situation.
So, in these dark times (and Amiga was very popular in my country (and all the surrounding countries (all Balkans)), even very rich people couldn't buy a original game, even if they want it (only if they smuggle it over the boarder).
Not to defend piracy and all, but without it, I wouldn't had chance to play any of the Amiga games that time, therefore my childhood would be much darker, therefore, I'd grown up as a different person.

I get your point, D4rk3lf, and if you're referring to copy protection, it can be very annoying, so I'm not bothered at all when it's cracked, as it tends to be a nuisance caused by paranoid game developers, especially on the Amiga. Yes, I know they're trying to ensure their profits, but I noticed that not one of id Software's PC FPS games had copy protection, they relied on the goodwill of their customers to buy their games and they did, in their thousands.
