Slamtilt and RTC collision
I have found the interesting bug in Slamtilt. I play it installed through original installer (not WHD) and since I launch the game through the main file game.exe, the internal Amiga Real Time Clock (on B1230 board) is PAUSED, until I quit the game back to the Workbench. For example - it is 4:26pm, I launch the game, play it for half an hour, then quit and my RTC is still 4:26pm and normally works then. Have you the same experience?

Not really a bug, game kills the complete OS thus the RTC is halted.

I though RTC is independent, works even while the computer is shut down (?)

RTC is only read once during boot. Execute "setclock load" after exiting the game or something like that

You are right, time is correct after the reboot. Last edited by Predseda; 22 August 2009 at 21:41. |
