Best Car / Driving Game...

For you who is the best game car on amiga,if you can post some screenshots too or links.

for me it's lotus 3, stunt car racer,ATR,super off road.

Lamborghini American Challenge is one of my favourites. It's Crazy Cars 3 with a two-player mode, and as such it's fab.

That is probably without a doubt my favourite Amiga racer as well. although i had no idea it had a 2 player mode???... i finished it in 1 player back in the day, but i could never recall 2 player?. Is that split screen or serial link with 2 Amiga's ?

It's split screen. You might be thinking of Crazy Cars 3, which was only one player. LAC was basically a re-release with a Lamborghini licence and a two-player mode, it was actually the same game other than that.

I think the cars are too heavy in Crazy Cars 3, and steering lags behind. It doesn't react as good as the Lotus games. Otherwise, it would be a fantastic game.

I hate it when it feels like I'm stretching a rubber band when I steer a car in games.

Crazy Cars III was fun! I spent hours/days playing it. My favorite though has to be VROOM. Great handling, dynamic and challenging. And the sound of the engine when you're belting down the road at full speed... classic.

Vroom and F1 Grand Prix where my favourites, the speed and handling in Vroom where awesome, and like ppill said that engine screaming like a banshee was classic, especially when you've down shifted one to many gear and ended up on the roadside looking at flames in the mirrors. I spent countless hours perfecting my times around the tracks on F1. I also enjoyed Stunt Car Racer and the Lotus games, but you just couldn't beat Vroom and F1.

For me, Super Cars 2 and Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge.

(And I'm really sorry that they changed the excellent, adrenaline-pumping races of Lotus 1 to a silly, "push the joy forward till next checkpoint!" gameplay in the sequels...)
