How to clear WHDLoad games lists

I want to change my A1200 setup. Change it to a 8 GB CF (coming from 4GB). I want to keep the ClassicWB system partition (copy it over). But I want to create new games and demos folders on the bigger 2nd partition.

How do I migrate the WHDLoad and iGame part of ClassicWB.

I guess I need to first clear the games/demoes databases and then run Add Files and in iGame update repositories again. But how do I clear the old databases?

Thanks for any help!

I would edit the gameslist file manually with a text editor. You can do a 'replace all' from your old path to the new one.

Thx, I think that's the info I was looking for. So what AddFiles does is create a gameslist file? Where is it located? Can I simply delete that and then create a new one by running AddFiles when I have the new partition and assign setup, correct?

It is located inside the program's directory. I'm not sure what will happen if you delete it, but anyway, you don't need to. Select 'Scan Repositories' and iGame will overwrite your old gameslist.

Ah OK, so that's just iGame. What files/DB is managed by the RUN --> AddFiles. Wait I think I've figured it out, it's the Gamemenu.menu file I assume.

So probably I just empty that and empty the gamelist file (instead of deleting) too.

Go to Programs/IGame and delete the gameslist.txt file.

From Workbench Right Click>Startup>Assign and edit the assign so that A-Games points to the new location, save and reboot

Run IGame and the list will be blank, Right Click on the top bar and click 'Scan Repositories' to repopulate the list

Thanks Fitsteve! That's for iGame. How to do something similar with the AddGames script as depicted above. Is my assumption correct there, doing something similar with the GamesMenu.menu as with the gameslist.txt.

BTW I used your youtube tutorial to get the 8GB CF up and running with PFS3AIO, thx for that!!!
